We start each day with exercises on land followed by a water session. Then, we have lunch together, rest a little and before sunset do another theory or land practice. In the evening, there is the option to watch the sunset, then have dinner together and wind down the day.

Montenegro, Lustica Peninsula. The dive spot where we are based is a small village called Veslo.
There, we have swimming access to over 40m depth, the coastline is characterized by high cliffs with beautiful blue caves nearby and a lot to explore.
How to get there: by car or through three airports (Tivat, Podgorica, Dubrovnik) all with direct flights from most European cities. From Berlin there are 4 weekly flights to Tivat (Easyjet & Eurowings) and 3 to Podgorica (Ryanair)
- Tivat is the closest airport from our location (25 min by car, 30€ taxi to dive spot)
- Podgorica (2,5h drive to divespot, 90€ taxi)
- Dubrovnik over the Croatian border (2,5h drive, 120€ taxi) there is also a bus option from Dubrovnik, contact us for details.
Freediving Approach
*Experience being comfortable and feel at home in and under water*
The freediving experience is based on three important aspects: playing, learning, and exploration.
The foundation of freediving in my view is to be comfortable in the water. In the courses we approach this through having fun, being playful, and taking some time to actively look for what we like, while being available and open to the water habitat. Through this foundation you gain direct experience of calmness and weightlessness in the water. From my experience this is the base to building trust, motivation, and relaxation in the water.
The next aspect involves learning. It includes freediving theory: physiology, physics, efficient swimming technique, equipment, safety, and rescue. The theory is not a dry powerpoint presentation but based on our actual experience in the water.
The third step is about exploring the water, challenging ourselves, confronting fear, and being courageous. With the foundation of being comfortable in the water and having gained knowledge, what was thought as hard, scary, or even impossible can become easy and effortless.
All courses include personalized coaching for beginners and experienced freedivers.

FAQ
The course lasts 7 nights & 6 days. The first day is used as the arrival day and check-ins, the last day is the departure day. The days in between will have activities.
Example: Let’s say you participate in the week going from August 12th until August 19th
Aug 12– Day of Arrival (you can arrive anytime starting noon, Dinner included)
Aug 13 – Diving Day
Aug 14 – Diving Day
Aug 15 – Diving Day
Aug 16 – Day Trip / Adventure day
Aug 17 – Diving Day
Aug 18 – last Diving Day
Aug 19– Departure Day (no food is offered, check-out latest at 11am)
The official start would be on Aug 13 at 8:30, meaning if you can not make it to SeaSpace on the arrival day, you could join as late as 8:30am on Aug 13.
We recommend arriving the previous day (August 12th) in the afternoon/evening and leaving on the day after the last diving day.
In a nutshell: There’s 5 days of structured course program and 1 day off where you’ll have a chance to join our excursion exploring the Lustica Peninsula, freely explore the surroundings by yourself or just stay and rest at the Seaspacehouse.
The structured days start at 8:30am, we’ll be back at SeaSpace around 12:30 pm from our freediving session and have lunch.
The afternoon program will resume at ~4:00pm.
Usual Schedule for training days:
8.30-9.00 | morning movement/ breathing practice |
9.00-10.00 | briefing and water prep |
10.30-12.30 | freediving session |
12.30-15.30 | lunch and midday break |
16.00-17.30 | workshop (freediving theory, q&a or practice session) |
18:30-19:30 | sunset ritual |
20:00 | dinner |
You’ll live with 4-8 other people and your freediving instructors and chef in an amazing house by the sea. You’ll start your days doing breathing exercises next to the crystal clear Adriatic sea while listening to the waves. After some last stretches you’ll walk into the water for freediving classes and dives.
In the afternoon there’s theory lessons, movement/breathing sessions followed by an incredible sunset.
You will learn a lot about yourself, about your body-mind and what happens to it when you hold your breath while you’re immersed in water. You’ll learn how to calm your mind to be more relaxed before a dive. Together we will do stretching and breathing techniques so you can be more comfortable holding your breath. And we learn about how your body deals with oxygen and CO2.
Yes, both are perfectly fine! You can either come alone or bring someone with you. The groups are small (4-7 participants) plus our teachers, so you will make friends and fit right in. Meals are communal, activities are with the other guests and there will be some time for yourself.
