WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching is not teaching. In the coaching sessions I don't tell you what you should do. Coaching is a process through which you will figure out solutions and steps that come from within you, that empower you and take you towards who you really are.
I am there to ask questions, listen and look for inconsistencies.
Through the coaching process it will get more and more obvious what the right path for you is. Or rather it will be more and more difficult not to follow it. Each of us has a compass deep within. And we are on a path towards something. And if you don't know what this path is about, the coaching process can bring you closer towards finding it.

But why is real, lasting change so difficult?
We have different parts to our personality, one part might be ready and wanting to change and act while another part is skeptical, feels scared and sees so many negative possible outcomes.
So, how can we overcome this resistance?
It is hard to change when we work against ourselves. In order to really change we need to understand who we are. With the right methods, this is possible.

In Daoism we say that in life you don’t really have choice. You might think you do but actually you can only always act and decide with the information at your disposal at that particular moment. If you look back at your life and your decisions this will be very obvious. Once you realize that you don't have choice, things can become much easier, you can let go of regret and it can lift off so much weight off your shoulders.
Does it mean that you can’t do and change anything?
On the contrary. It means that you can stop beating yourself up, drop the shame and go towards gaining more and better knowledge of yourself and the world around you in order to have more and better information at your disposal that enable you to make better decisions in the future. The more you know about yourself and the clearer you see reality the more obvious the right steps in your path will become.

Is Coaching the right thing for me?
In a free intro call you can tell me about your topic, then we decide together if coaching is a good fit for you.
Coaching is not Therapy. Rather it is a process that enables you to understand and clarify your situation so that you can take actions towards your goals.
How long does the Coaching last?
This depends on your topic and goals. Often we can clarify a lot already in the first session. Rarely does it last longer than 12 sessions.
