We begin the day with exercises on land focusing on breathing and equalization. Then we enter the water. Initially, we stay in a shallow area, floating on the surface and practicing basic exercises. This gradually builds a sense of safety and confidence.
Afterward, we swim together to the deeper part of the lake. There, we work with a dive buoy and rope. At first, we slowly pull ourselves down the rope to get used to the depth and pressure. Once this feels comfortable, we incorporate dives with fins.
After about 2-3 hours in the water, we return to shore, rest, and have a light snack. In the second part of the day, we reflect on the morning's experiences, add targeted exercises for deeper understanding, and then return to the water. We dive along the rope again and have time to explore the lake's underwater world. There's an underwater forest, small fish, and even a mermaid statue.
All exercises are adapted to the needs and experience of the participants.

We meet on Saturday at 10am at the divecenter by the lake. After a group introduction, we begin with land-based exercises covering breathing and bodyawareness. Then we enter the water for the first dive session: starting in the shallow area with relaxation exercises at the surface, followed by swimming to a deeper part of the lake where we slowly descend along the dive buoy line.
In the afternoon, we deepen theoretical knwoledge and practice equalization before heading out for the second water session, again at the buoy, building on the morning's experiences. The first day concludes with a communal BBQ.
On Sunday, we start the day with gentle movement and breathing exercises. Two more dive sessions follow, where we continue to consolidate and deepen what we've learned. The group program ends around 4pm.
All exercises are adapted to the needs and experience of the participants.

Do you also offer freediving certifications?
Yes, it is possible to complete Molchanov's Freediving Certificates (Wave 1 & Wave 2).
However, the focus of the courses offered is not primarily on fulfilling course requirements or reaching specific depths and times. More important is feeling comfortable in the water, getting to know your own breathing, and discovering depth step by step.
In my experience, longer apnea times and greater depths develop naturally over time. If the corresponding requirements are met and there is interest, I will gladly issue an official certificate.
Are there any prerequisites for participating in the courses?
Participation is generally possible for anyone who feels comfortable in the water.
Requirements are:
– Minimum age 16 years (with parental consent)
– Ability to swim 200 meters continuously
– Basic experience with snorkeling or fin swimming is helpful
– Completed medical form
– Signed liability waiver
If you are unsure whether the course is suitable for you, please feel free to contact me beforehand.
Can I bring someone to the course?
Yes, of course, as long as there are still spaces available. Many participants come with friends or partners. Sharing the experience can be especially enjoyable, as you can support each other and reflect on the experience together afterward.
What if I'm afraid to dive or hold my breath?
That's perfectly normal. Many people are apprehensive about holding their breath or about the depths.
The courses are structured so that we proceed slowly and step by step. It's not about forcing anything, but about building trust: in your own body, your breath, and the underwater environment. Often, feelings of uncertainty quickly transform into curiosity and calmness.
Do I need my own equipment?
No, you don't need your own equipment. Complete freediving gear (mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, and weights) can be rented directly from the dive centers. If you already own equipment, you're welcome to bring it. The most important thing is that your mask fits well and that you feel comfortable with your gear (we usually use 5mm wetsuits in the lake).
Is freediving dangerous?
Like any activity in the water, freediving can involve risks. However, how you practice it is crucial. In our courses, we work with clear safety rules. All exercises are built up step by step and supervised by an instructor. The focus is not on performance or pushing your limits, but on relaxation, body awareness, and safe breathing techniques. In this context, freediving is a very calm and safe activity.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are possible up to 21 days before the course begins. In this case, the full amount will be refunded.
Unfortunately, refunds are no longer possible for cancellations made later. However, you can transfer your spot to another person at any time.
Should the course not take place due to insufficient enrollment or organizational reasons, the full amount will, of course, be refunded.
